Government Services Policy

header underline

A responsible government would ensure that Service Alberta properly protects Albertans as both citizens and consumers.

We would:

  • Protect home and condominium owners by passing legislation targeting shoddy residential construction practices.
  • Prevent payday loan companies from taking advantage of low-income families by establishing a ceiling for the daily accrual of interest on payday loans.
  • Introduce consumer protection legislation to ensure that sub metering practices do not result in unfair and exorbitant heating costs for tenants.
  • Safeguard the private information of Albertans by improving the security and integrity of government information management systems.
